The Perlis Motorsports Club, as our commitment to give the motor sports enthusiast in the northern region the chances to get involve in a proper motor sports event. Our objective is trying to bring as much youngsters into a motor sports and educated them in a proper way of racing and self development. As for this we have started an event call "KEDAH CHALLENGE" which only for club members and who wanted to join this event must apply to the Perlis Motorsports Club to be a registered member. The Kedah Challenge 2010 Rd 1 was held at the International Karting Circuit University Utara Malaysia. This event being patronage by the Yayasan Sultaniah Bahiyah and promoted by the Promax Racing Motorsports and organized by Perlis Motorsports Club. The race event was, Open Cub Prix, Series Production Cub Prix and FR125 Open Go Kart.

Our First Activity for the Year 2010. Supporting the State Government event organised by Jabatan Belia dan Sukan Negeri Perlis, Jabatan Agama Islam Perlis and Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Perlis. Also the Gapura Bikers Club providing ride marshals. This program was to change youths who like to ride small bikes for nothing to an organized convoy from a mosque to mosque, to charity house and help to those in needs.

For the time being we are now developing youngsters into motorsports. Conducting a basic to advance go-kart and mini bike classes. We handle youngsters from age of 9 - 16. For now there's only a go-kart drivers age from 11 - 16 which will be racing in their first challenge organize by Kementerian Belia dan Sukan Malaysia. Our program being supported by the Jabatan Belia dan Sukan Negeri Perlis. This is what our mission is all about, to produce as many as we can a future motorsports enthusiast.

BASIC 4x4 DRIVING COURSE

By supporting the State Youth and Sport Department of Perlis, we organize a 4x4 basic driving class at RPS Air Banun, Grik Perak. Being facilitate by the wellknown 4x4 enthusiast MR Adi and Mr Rauf from Mares, all 40 frehies including 4 young lady got a very new experience in 4x4 experience. We thanks Perlis 4x4 Club for their support as in this event.We also like to thanks a friends from Grik Mr Gopal, Mr G, Jabtan Perhutanan and to all who give hands to make this event success. Perlis AUTOKAHANA & DRIFT

It was held on the 2nd and 3rd of May 2009 in conjunction of Week and Day of the National Youth of Malaysia. As to make things happening we join the event and organize a Drifting, Autokhana or Autocross, Auto and Audio Show and also a classic bike show. We just go 35 entrances for the autokhana challenge which we run it in an open class. 10 fastest driver being awarded as a winner. The audience was great and thanks for them to come and enjoy the show. The Drift demos was brought from Kuala Lumpur and Kedah. Thank you all.

For our first event in 2009 was a Charity Ride in conjunction of Maal Hijrah celebration in Perlis. We get 80 youngsters with small bike and 7 of big bike marshal and supported by Jabatan Belia dan Sukan negeri Perlis, Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri Perlis and Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Perlis. The route is about 87 km and its take about 1 whole day of travelling, stop at mosque, doing some "gotong royong" and appreciating orphanage house for senior citizen and kids.

BASIC GO KART COURSES

On the 14 and 15 of June, Perlis Motorsports Club and Jabatan Belia dan Sukan negeri Perlis organized an event just for youngster to get to know about Motorsports. Its a basic course of Go-Kart Driving. 66 youngsters from age 8 - 17 registered. This course been organized yearly since 2003. Its a success event as i say because each and everyone of the youngster in Perlis did not know anything about karting. Even some of them never saw a kart before. Waht we have done to them was, in two days time they can drive the kart on a track. Some of them were able to do some tricks using the kart such, drifting, fast slalom etc. We are so proud of them. Thank you to all.

PERLIS AUTOKHANA 2007

By end of last year, we organized an event call autokhana. Thats is a precise driving challenge. Competitors have to drive through a series of pylons which designed for a precise and most accurate driving style. Competitors whose reach the end of the course in the shortest time will crown as a winner in each class and run. We create 5 classes for the event. Such a modern classics, 1.5 liter, 2.0 liter, compact and the popular the open class. We have drawn a crowd in this event as entrance reached 65 cars. First Event - PERLIS CAR PARK SPRINT and RALLY SPRINT

Since the club being formed, we need to run an event. Then this idea comes out. At the very moment, theres no others club in Malaysia organized this kind of event. As what we know only Singapore and Taiwan has been organize this kind of event. The event was runned at the Stadium Utama Car Park in Kangar Perlis. I dont' have a lot of photo of it. The entry was awesome, nearly 60 cars participate in this event.

Then we try to go further by organising the Rally Sprint. With a very little know how, we invite friends who have experience in organizing the Rally. Starting from there we keep learning from them. Thank you to Ahmad Suhaimi from SAMP (at that time)
For the first rally we arganise, its a very simple rally, say the regulation is, bring your standard car and lets rally. And the entrance comes like a water flowing. We have to reject 20 cars coz, we already have 50 cars registered. Then we know that our objective will came fast to the Club.

Started in 1996 buy a bunch of motorsports enthusiast in Perlis. Meet at the Kedai Kopi for our teh tarik, and talk about forming a Motorsports club. At that time theres some bikers, and car fanatic who always meet and talk about it.

The Club then successfully being registered by Pendaftar Pertubuhan Malaysia on the 2nd July 1996. Our registration number is 305/96. But the registered name of the club is KELAB SUKAN MOTOR PERLIS 1996.

And by year 1998 our registeration has to be re-register to the Pesuruh Jaya Sukan Malaysia with the Registration Number 0131/98.

Since then we starting to bring all kind of motorsports event to the State of Perlis.
